Cass Walker Harvey is a Strategy and Innovation Consultant and Leadership coach at CWH Consulting, where she works with nonprofits, for-profits and educational institutions at the local, state, and national levels providing strategic planning, leadership training and facilitation. Cass is also a Resident Fellow at Yale Center for Business and the Environment, and Senior Advisor at Time4Good LLC where she provides strategic leadership guidance and training to the Connected Leadership initiative.

Cass has spent her career building inclusive economic and education organizations and ecosystems in the USA, Latin America and the UK. Previously, Cass led the expansion of First Southwest Community Fund as Executive Director– a nonprofit providing inclusive access to capital for rural Colorado businesses, scaling the program from $5million to $20million. ​Cass also co-led the launch of the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale as Managing Director where her role included strategy and programming for entrepreneurship and inclusive innovation at Yale, advising start-ups, and business development in the areas of environment, sustainability, health, education, and social justice. ​Cass has coached and mentored hundreds of individuals and businesses on leadership, strategy and growth. She is committed to breaking down barriers for access to resources.

Cass has a Masters in International Education Policy from Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is from the UK and currently resides in Durango, Colorado with her husband and son.  Commissioner Walker Harvey was appointed by Gov. Jared Polis in August 2024 to serve through July 1, 2028 as an Unaffiliated resident from the 3rd Congressional District.
