Student Eligibility FAQ
Colorado Promise was developed to help support students achieve their academic goals and set them on the path towards career and lifelong success. The eligibility criteria was developed with two general areas in mind:
1: Support Colorado students across multiple income groups.
2: Reward hard-working students.
Initial Eligibility
Have an annual household income of $90,000 or less
Colorado resident
Annually complete a FAFSA or CASFA
Enroll at a postsecondary educational institution within two years of completing high school
Academic Performance
Be an undergraduate degree or credential seeking student
Have completed less than 66 credit hours
In a semester earn at least a 2.5 GPA while completing at least 6 credit hours
